It’s almost 15 years since I am leading Culture and Photography Tours (six years Individually and approx nine years as Travel duo). We both have travelled extensively scouting for new photography opportunities in India and other Asian Countries. From deciding the route, mode of transports, hotels, photography opportunities, local handlers and local restaurants, every detail need attention. After months of hard work, both physically and mentally when tours are commenced successfully, the most satisfying moments are reading appreciations from your guest over coffee. They always join as strangers and end up as families.

After months of researching, we landed on “The wildlife Tour” website and decided to book my Taj, Tiger and Temple tour with them. We were 2 female travellers. We wanted to be very careful in choosing the right tour where I would feel comfortable and not get in scammed and I chose right. If I remember before confirming the tour I asked 100’s of questions with Harsh. He was very responsive and attentive in answering all my questions patiently to what I was looking for in my tour. After some changes, we agreed on a tour plan which will be dedicated to tigers and Taj Mahal only. We sighted 7 tigers and 2 leopards in 5 safaris. If I ever come to India again (which will be very soon) it will be with wildlife Tours. I highly recommend this.

I was blown away by every aspect of this tour. I and my girlfriend were visiting India for the very first time in Dec. We planned to celebrate Christmas in India. From hotels, local restaurants, local guides and off course our most favourite Mr Gurmeet Ji, everything was fantastic. The “In to the Wild” was my first wildlife photo tour. Harsh and Arti did not disappoint. As the tour proceeded, they kept exceeding my expectations. Their drivers are excellent. Most importantly, they know where to position the vehicles for the best light and the best photographs. Harsh is a very accomplished photographer. His inputs were very helpful and my photos showed a marked improvement as the tour progressed.

Arti and Harsh had put a lot of thought and planning into this tour (Into the wild), choosing the right parks, lodges and coordination to make it an incredible adventure. Mr Dhinu in Bandhavgarh was our favourite driver cum naturalist. We were just stunned with the presence of his mind when he decided to take another route when all jeeps were rushing at one point. For a moment we thought it was a blunder, but we kept our trust on him. We end up having tiger only for us for 25 mins before other jeeps arrived. We could see on another side 8 jeeps were haggling for pictures. Harsh and Arti’s attention to every detail is unbelievable. I wished if I could have stayed therefore ever.

My tour of Agra and Ranthambore National Park was one of the highlights of my travel experiences. Harsh organized everything and made it easy and stress-free. He took wonderful care of me in Agra. He has extensive knowledge of the sites in Agra, was extremely personable and enjoyable, and helped me to capture some amazing photos (bonus... he is a professional photographer!). He arranged a beautiful hotel for me in Ranthambore, used his knowledge of the park to book me safaris in the best zones for tiger sightings, and thought of many small details to make my trip as comfortable as possible (including a hotspot for the long car ride). Harsh is an excellent tour guide and a wonderful and warm-hearted person. Indian Maharaja is the best way to see India and I hope to go back for another tour soon!

Thanks a ton to Harsh for organizing our wildlife tour in India. We had a very enjoyable and memorable holiday. The highlight of the trip was the great sighting of the mating tiger at the Ranthambore. We were only 2 jeeps who got this chance to witness the mating. In 2 safaris we sighted 5 tigers. Heartfelt appreciations to add wildlife in my 1-week tour to India. The driver and resorts can’t be better than that.

India was on my bucket list for some time now and I couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Harsh Agarwal! He was knowledgeable, insightful and highly accommodating to our group, which seemed more like a job of herding cats. And he did it all with a smile. He was punctual yet flexible and open to changes (from us) in our itinerary. We had plenty of personal time to rest and recoup from some of our longer tour days. When temperatures peaked in the middle of the day, he would recommend we leave earlier or later in the day to make sure we didn’t get heatstroke. When we went to the Taj Mahal, we beat the massive crowds by arriving earlier than everybody else and avoiding the thousands of tourists. Our pictures turned out great! (By the way, he’s a professional photographer which made my shoddy, amateur pictures look amazing!)

Harsh took us to the most sought-after places in Northern India: Delhi, Agra, Bharatpur, and Jaipur. He set us up in the best hotels (4 and 5 star only) and treated us to the most appetizing Indian cuisine.

What an incredible trip! Arti and Harsh designed an incredible personalized trip for my wife, my 10 year old daughter and me. It was executed with precision. The ongoing communication and logistical transition between guides and staff as we traveled the country was so smooth and gave us much comfort and a stress-free trip. The trip itself was incredible. Fantastic historical, cultural, cuisine, and wildlife safaris. Can't wait to go again.Would highly recommend Indian maharaja tours to anyone!

We have been coming to India for 12 years, but have always stayed in Goa, usually for January…We decided this year we wanted to see a bit more of India and naturally wanted to take in Agra and The iconic Taj Mahal - I’ve reviewed this separately. We decided the best way for us was to take a trip with Indian Maharaja Tours. The trip we opted for was the “Gems of India” it is classed as a 4 days/3nights….he route was Delhi - Agra - Ranthambore Tiger Reserve - Jaipur It was fully inclusive and the food was v good. The excursions were very well organized and there were some very exclusive tours, including the Royal Family’s private quarters in the City Palace in Jaipur. I don’t think the descriptions in the brochures do them justice….You might consider taking earplugs with you as India is an exciting, vibrant, noisy place. I can not recommend this trip enough.-Delhi

Ranthambore National park was one of the highlights of my travel experiences. It was an amazing safari. What beautiful creatures. 4 tigers….. and a slot bear… in a single safari. Harsh organized everything and made It a perfect adventure. He booked my safaris in the best zones for tiger sighting and shared his knowledge beforehand. I hope to go back for Bandhavgarh national park with Harsh Soon.

I could not recommend Harsh and Arti at 'Indian Maharaja Tour' highly enough. We were a group of 5 adults and 7 kids and what an incredible time we all had. Harsh and Arti made everything so easy. Transport was all arranged, and Harsh made sure we went to all the best places, ate in delicious restaurants and stayed in awesome hotels and we all learnt a lot about Indian culture from Harsh. Not only that, but he is a lovely man and great company. He was also very flexible and listened to us. If the kids needed time out and wanted to just spend the afternoon in the pool, that was fine too. If you are thinking of going to India, you won't do better than to go with these guys. They get a 10/10 from me and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

I had a lot of fun to make this Trip with Harsh and other participants. This trip was very well organised with 12 game drives in 4 tiger reserves. All our guides and drivers were very knowledgeable. The best part was they had a great sense of photography. They know exactly where and how to park the vehicle for a better angle. They can predict the movement of tigers which helped a lot for better shots. Mr Dhinu and Mr Sudama were exceptional in Bandhavgarh. I am still counting the tigers we sighted. Tiger who made the attempt to kill was just magical. I never thought that I could ever see anything like that. Thanks so much, Arti for all the arrangements and we all know that you are a money person, pay Harsh well, he was exceptional on the tour, especially with all the commentaries. Lots of hugs….
