The Last 10 Mins..
It was the final safari of our India Tiger Safari Tour in Tadoba.
The morning had been unusually quiet. We were exploring one of the core zones, checking every promising waterhole, dusty track, and shaded patch where a tiger might appear. But the jungle had different plans. By late morning, the April heat was beginning to build, and after hours of searching, we decided to head back toward the exit gate a little earlier than usual.
Of course, anyone who spends enough time in the wild knows one thing: the jungle never follows your plans.
As we slowly made our way back, conversations in the vehicle turned reflective. It had been an incredible Tiger Marathon Tour already. We had enjoyed memorable tiger sightings, photographed beautiful birds, and even witnessed some remarkable tiger and leopard encounters. Still, there was a feeling that lingered among us.
This was the last safari.
And deep down, we all hoped for one final surprise.
Then it happened.
